Who is
Kwintessential? She is a freelance
writer from
Kwintessential began performing 10 years ago when she landed lead roles in Purlie Victorious and 12 Angry Men. While attending U of M she starred in The Colored Museum, which was the first African American play to be shown on the U of Memphis main stage.
Kwintessential performs regularly at A Touch of the Past, Creative Salon, and Mike’s. Her poetic style has been described as a mix of drama and song. She has been featured at places such as Paul Mabon’s Verbal Rhythms, The Sound Stage, and Ciara’s.
Kwintessential has been published in the Daily Helmsman, My
Brothers and Sisters Keeper, and is finishing her first self-publication: The
Kwintessential Collection Volume 1. She
currently resides in
Kwintessential has also branched out into a public speaking career. She gives lectures and conducts workshops on single parenting, college preparation, living your passion, and a host of other topics.
